“Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life”. Kenneth and Valerie planned their most significant moment of your life in the heart of Central – Island Shangri-La Hotel. What makes this venue a special one is that it is where the lovebirds met. Kenneth had often enjoyed happy hour at Lobster Bar and Grill, while Valerie was working as a part time staff there. Eventually, the two souls came across each other and fell in love.

The wedding started off with a beautiful stretch of weather, Valerie dressed up in her shimmering gold Cheongsam and the couple served tea to their parents and their seniors. Then, they decided to take it back to where it all began by returning to the bar for a lovely shoot. It surely created memories that they would keep for a lifetime.

The bride glowed in her Vera Wang gown for the ceremony and stunning Jenny Packham dress for the reception. The red-and-gray theme was ideal for an elegant wedding, and this intimate wedding ceremony was sweet, simple, and so full of love. Smiles and laughter covered the banquet. Those heartfelt moments made the wedding an unforgettable one. It was a pleasure to capture every moment of laughter, every tear and every little detail of the day.

As the old Chinese saying goes, “Destiny brings together people who are thousands of miles apart”. This fits perfectly for Ava and Andy’s story. Ava is from Taiwan while Andy is a Hong Kong local, yet the two souls met in Shanghai as they were destined to. The couple began their big day at The Peninsula Hotels.  Ava’s best pals giving Ava their genuine blessings was certainly an touching and unforgettable moment. One of my favorite parts of the day was the couple sharing a romantic movie kiss against the beautiful backdrop of the Hong Kong skyline!

The couple then moved on to HEXA, which is a great venue to capture the couple’s candid and sweet moments as the wedding was complemented with a 270-degree harbour view. It couldn’t have been more perfect for the groom and bride to exchange their vows with such a breathtaking panoramic view. Ava looked extremely elegant in her magnificently detailed A-line wedding gown. It was no wonder that all eyes were on her during the ceremony. The Chinese wedding banquet was held at Spring Moon back at the Peninsula Hotels with friends and relatives assembled from different regions. One could definitely feel the love in the air.

While most couples go for a traditional wedding, some just love to add a sensational touch to their big day. Instead of settling for an ordinary wedding banquet, Yeuki and Jacky opted for a marvellously exclusive wedding ceremony at the Peak Lookout. Thrilled to be heading up to the heritage house at Victoria Gap which overlooks the summit of Victoria Peak, this magical venue contains both Chinese and Western elements that creates a very unique ambiance. The couple kicked off with a Chinese wedding tradition. Yeuki looked really gorgeous in her vivid red embroidered dress as the colour complimented her glowing skin so beautifully.

The wedding ceremony was held in an outdoor terrace that attempts to recreate the sights, sounds and smells of an English garden. On this lovely evening, it was seemingly the perfect location for the natural lighting, greenery and setup to capture honest moments between the lovebirds, their gentle touches and their utterly sweet wedding vows.

This place has something truly special about it. This ambient and intimate wedding was such a joy to photograph and I would never get tired of shooting here.

This is a story about two different cultures coming together and embarking on one love journey. Janelle and Jimmy met and fell in love when they were in America. Janelle was an overseas student from Hong Kong when she met Jimmy, who was born and raised in the States.

They had a Western wedding ceremony near a lake in the US on a glorious day. As for the Hong Kong part, there was a vastly different ceremony to celebrate Janelle and Jimmy’s love . Incredible doesn’t even begin to describe what transpired on the morning of Janelle and Jimmy’s wedding day!  When two people are truly in love, it’s like fireworks going off at every second. Janelle looked like an angel in her white wedding gown, and I could tell that Jimmy thought so too from the way he looked at her.

Bright red pops of color is one of the most significant elements in traditional Chinese celebrations. To truly accentuate the Chinese culture, the couple even opted for a spectacular lion dance performance. The lovebirds then walked down the aisle in traditional Chinese wedding outfits. Considering marriage and family bonds of different cultures, Janelle having Jimmy experience Chinese traditions, leading to the union of two rich cultures is very meaningful and touching.
