Alice and William had their wedding ceremony and reception held at some of the most sought after locations by couples in Hong Kong – the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel and the romantic Bethanie Chapel. I must say that Alice and William were very fortunate to be able to book a spot at the Bethanie, as it is definitely one of the most popular wedding locations in Hong Kong due to its beautiful architecture and the history behind it.
Despite the western elements of the Four Seasons and Bethanie, it is certainly interesting when Chinese traditions were incorporated as well. For many of us in Hong Kong, no wedding is complete without having the couple put on traditional Chinese wedding outfits and going through traditional Chinese ceremonies, which was the case for Alice and William as well. This made the day even more special as this fusion reflected much on our modern Chinese culture and values. I had great fun being a part of their big day and I wish them every happiness in their days to come!
