Looking Back on 2013

Time really flies, and 2013 has already gone by in the blink of an eye. Looking back at 2013, I am glad and honoured to have helped many couples photograph their weddings and pre-weddings, and I thank all of them for their support and faith in me.

2013 was a special year for me, especially because I have had the opportunity to meet with couples from overseas who decide to hold their weddings in Hong Kong, and help them photograph their big day. This certainly has helped me widen my horizons, and open my eyes to new cultures. These lovely experiences have definitely made me grow not only as a photographer, but as an individual as well.

In 2013, I feel that the trend in wedding photography is to keep the realistic element in pictures and to incorporate the couples’ own characters into the photographs. To me, each and every wedding is unique. Instead of instructing couples to pose the same way and take the same, cookie-cutter photos, I am a firm believer that every couple deserves a set of photographs that are unique and special to them, so that the pictures and the message behind them can remain timeless in years to come.

I am excited for the new opportunities that come during this new year, and I will strive to capture couples at their best while preserving the realism that is essential in photographs. I look forward to share my work with all of you!
