Style Consistency

As a wedding photographer, “consistency” is of the essence. Consistency means a consistent level of quality, it is important in a sense that many couples picked their wedding day photographer months or even a year ago before their big day. If the work present to them was so different from the outcome they get back for their wedding day, I considered that wasn’t fair to the customers. I like to show a slideshow I made on 2010, which I always show to my potential clients when they visited my studio. It gives a complete and good picture for them how I “documented” a wedding – from the ceremony in the morning to a banquet till the departure of the guests. So that my clients can get the idea how I document a wedding; and the way I do it is consistent with the way I documented a wedding months or a year ago. They also are assured that the quality of my work is well-maintained. Of course, consistency doesn’t matter “no improvement”, as the equipment is upgraded and my technique is improved. To me, it is important that my clients book me today and they will be comfortable with their wedding day photos after a year, that the sense and expression of their wedding photos will be consistent with what I show them.
