I truly believe that Pre-wedding Photography does not need to be formulated repetitive actions.  One can shout, yell, jump or whatever as long as it is Happy!  To couples preparing for their weddings, there are a lot of pressures.  So when it comes to their Pre-wedding shootings, it would be really painful being a pair of puppets  in front of the camera.  So Couples of Hong Kong, RELAX!

Sarah & Gary have chosen their new flat as the 1st shooting location!  I always suggest to my couples to find a place they are familiar or love for taking the pre wedding photos.  Such as the places both of them frequently visited and where they first dated – which will make the photos more meaningful.  Most importantly, the more they feel at home, the better the emotion will be portrayed.

As a graduate of Chinese University, Sarah picked it as the 2nd shooting location which bought back many fond memories to her.  We spent a marvellous afternoon there!   Besides their chosen locations, I also recommended a place for the couples.  I picked the Cyberport on this occasion (my recent favourite location) for them.  It is not the hottest picked HK pre-wedding locations such as Shek O, 1881 heritage or Stanley, but quite tranquil.  Most importantly, the sunset at Cyberport was so beautiful which is second to none in HK!

After 3 days, the Valentine’s Day Wedding Fair @ HKCEC has came to a successful conclusion!  I would like to thank the many friends to help make the exhibition to be completed smoothly.  Whilst preparing the show, I had only one intention to meet new couples solely as promotional purpose without thinking too much of any sales target being.  Finally, the flow of people were more than I expected, the 3 busy days were really worthwhile.  Many couples complemented “The photographs are so Beautiful” after viewing, really sweeten my heart, I felt I have earned!+

It’s been a while since updating my blog as I have headed into the peak of wedding job’s season.  In the meantime, you can also catch up with me on Facebook – http://www.facebook.com/patrick.weddingphotographer

Finally, now with a little breathier, I am pleased to share our team’s latest overseas wedding assignment with the lovely cheerful Gloria and her other half.  Away with a charming couples being the foremost ingredients, we began yet another successful wedding photography journey.

Obviously, Tokyo was the most wanted location of this trip.  However, we have also discovered a new location called Kawagoe (川越) which is only half an hour train journey from Ikebukuro (池袋).  Kawagoe (川越) was a beautiful place full of traditional Japanese style buildings.  With very few tourists around, we all spent a peaceful afternoon at this wonderful location also called “Little Kyoto” (小京都)!

Including myself and three other team members, we also managed to produce a behind the scenes of the pre-wedding photo shoot.  Stay tuned with us for sharing their video soon.  For now, please enjoy a selection of photographs from our amazing journey.
