Eilidh . William’s Wedding at Duddell’s

I am always fond of small and intimate wedding, there are so many things happening and fun details to capture. And I must say – there’s nothing like a Scottish wedding!

If I had one word to describe these two, it would be extraordinary! We can tell that the couple were nothing traditional, as you can see from Eilidh’s shoes in contrast to her red cheongsam and the groomsmen’s Adidas Original attire.

The day started with Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong where Eilidh got ready for the wedding. From there she was escorted to her ceremony location – Duddell’s. The wedding was held at a small open rooftop area, there supplied a wonderful location and ambiance for reception and the ceremony after. I was particularly impressed by the details on the wedding bouquet and venue décor. The romantic organic-inspired white and green theme created a resemblance to the outdoor natural environment. One of the captivating moments was the couple doing a Scottish Wedding Dance while they tied the knot.

My favorite portraits of Eilidh and William were captured at the time when they exchanged their wedding vows, the icicle lights helped created a very romantic and quintessential wedding portrait. Their adorable smiles, and very apparent love for each other made it easy to get all these beautiful moments.

As a wedding photographer, I always believe that every wedding is a totally new experience. Therefore, it’s always fun to shoot a wedding from an unique perspective each time.
