I was flattered to have won an award in the wedding industry, but most important of all, professional and passionate to photography. As our job is to capture the decisive moments of the wedding couples either on their pre-wedding or big day images.

For me, wedding photography is not just an art or winning awards, but rather to provide “JOY” to the future wedded couples. Once again, thank you for everyone’s support and I shall continue to do my very best in the future to serve more happy couples.

The wedding ceremony was taken place in Bauhinia Garden, Kowloon Tsai Park. It was managed by Leisure and Cultural Services Department. I love taking photo shot for outdoor wedding and they are my first clients who hold their wedding in Bauhinia Garden. It was as good as other well-known or popular outdoor wedding venues in Hong Kong. The wedding banquet was held at the Peninsula Hong Kong, my favor hotel. Although Peninsula only caters a smaller size of wedding, they have a spacious Suite with large windows and an elegant interior setting where the newlyweds can take a break. The light and decoration makes the Suite such a great and perfect place for photos!

I made a same-day edit for Jen and Roy. When the same-day edit show during the banquet, I saw the happy and joyful faces of them – makes my day end perfectly!

Away from Northern Sheung Shui’s Beas River, in the afternoon, we moved the location to the beautiful Bethanie Chapel on the other side of Hong Kong Southern area.  Bethanie Chapel is an extremely popular location for wedding big days in recent years.  There are wedding ceremony there almost every fortnight in the peak season.

For this occasion, Pamela and Nelson especially rented the small chapel for their pre-wedding shoot.  It is a first for me to shoot pre-wedding at the Bethanie Chapel, with such a great opportunity, I have managed to shot the wonderful couple against almost every corners of this building.

Dear Patrick and his crew,

Thank you for joining our day and be our photographer. Preparation of wedding is more challenging than we imagined, especially we rescheduled our wedding just a few weeks before the original day. It was a sad moment. Patrick was very considerate when we told him so and unexpectedly, he was the one who told us not to worry about the day and ask us to settle down first. Patrick respected his client, and not just think about their money.

Hiring Patrick is a worry-free decision, he is willing to spend time with us to hear what we want our wedding to be, and give us advice on how to budget the time. On that day, Patrick and his crew arrived on time. When the driver got to wrong way on his way to Cotton Drive, Patrick instructed him of the right route. Otherwise, we properly will be late and more stressful.

We both are not models, but Patrick is very professional, he never push us to post a lot but to capture our natural moment. Taking photos with Patrick is very comfortable and relax. His crew assisted us a lot and did not interrupt our schedule and the ceremony. All of them worked very effectively that all guests can take photos smoothly. The wedding was smoother than we expected, it was happier than we expected.

The sameday slideshow is very great, we have lots of accomplishment from guests, Patrick and his crew had a busy day and a short lunch and dinner time. We definitely recommended Patrick to others, if one don’t want a photographer blocked your guests’ sight during the wedding ceremony, if one want a relaxing wedding day and their OWN wedding day, if one want photos which one will enjoy so much after years, do get into go to his blog and have a look.

I feel deeply honoured to be involved in such an exciting sea wedding.   Not only that, it is a wedding of the east and the west set in a very appropriate setting of the Victoria Harbour as both Scotland and Hong Kong are both surrounded by the sea.

Our voyage with the boat proved to be both romantic and challenging at the same time.  Taking photographs on a shaky boat with hundreds of guests is not an easy task.  Luckily the weather and guests were both lovely to say the least, at the end, a beautiful group shot was done in the most fashionable way.

Finally, everyone got back to the land and carried the party into a fantastic evening.   We wish Carmen and David will sail into a great future together.
