Tracy . David’s Pre-wedding

Many couples shy away from having their pre-wedding photos taken during the summer because of the heat, especially in such a humid place like Hong Kong. They worry about their make-up melting, or being trapped in big gowns and tuxedoes under the sun. In spite of these challenges, Tracy and David’s pre-wedding photos were taken this August as their wedding day was coming soon in three months. August was our best choice as there wouldn’t be enough time for the after-effects and album production otherwise.

What comes with the heat was a clear sky and bright sunlight, a beautiful weather which was perfect for sunset photos. I always enjoy taking photos with couples at sunset for the simple, warm and romantic feeling it offers. As the saying goes, “a sunset is the sun’s fiery kiss to the night”. Indeed, sunset is the perfect time to capture the most romantic and magical moments.

Despite Hong Kong being a concrete jungle, there are actually many places where you can get a good view of the gorgeous sunset. Lantau Island was the choice for Tracy and David this time. What’s great about the sunset at Lantau Island is that you can witness the sun coming down slowly all the way down to the water, which creates a warm, timeless backdrop for pre-wedding photos.

I’m really grateful that Tracy and David has trusted me so much along the way. Although the entire process was challenging to our team because of the hot weather, we had a great time and I am so glad that they are happy with the final result!
